The June 25 news brief “Recycling centers close for holiday” contained an error. Kansas City Community Recycling Centers, including Metro North, 3 Trails and Deramus Community Recycling Centers, will be open Friday, July 3. They will be closed Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. The regular hours of operation for the Community Recycling Centers are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and will resume Wednesday, July 8.
