Kansas City Councilman Russ Johnson is no longer the chair of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.

Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser replaced Johnson with Councilman Terry Riley, who had been chair of Planning and Zoning. Councilman Bill Skaggs will now chair that committee.

I just got off the phone with both Johnson and Skaggs. Both had some interesting comments.
