Board of Aldermen lays out its top priorities for the year

 In preparation for what could be a busy year for Parkville, the Board of Aldermen held a workshop Feb. 16 to discuss its goals, department by department, for the city in 2010.

If you missed last week’s Board of Aldermen meeting in Parkville, don’t worry, because like most of your favorite television shows, it can now be viewed online.

Now that candidate filing for the Tuesday, April 6, municipal election has ended, it looks like Parkville Mayor Gerry Richardson will likely retain his post for a second full term.

As Parkville mulls its economic future, the city is looking toward Missouri Highway 45 to replenish its tax base.

With a few minor changes over this year, Parkville passed its 2010 budget Dec. 15 with a unanimous vote of the Board of Aldermen.
